Jerry Wood - Owner/Manager
While attending Portland State University, Jerry learned about working on cars from his father-in-law. Jerry has a Master's degree in Economics and has worked for the State of Oregon and Blue Mountain Community College in Pendleton before starting his own business. He has been running a transmission shop for over ten years and besides working with customers, he helps out the transmission technician with drive tests, electronic diagnosis, and transmission services. Jerry has been married for almost 38 years and has two grown daughters and three grandchildren.
Joe Stephens - Transmission Technician
Before coming to Cherry City Transmissions, Joe worked for an independent transmission shop in Fremont, California. Prior to that with an Aamco transmission shop. Joe has been with us for three years now and takes care in is work and provides a complete assessment of a vehicle's needs in diagnosing and repairing. Joe has a wife and two daughters.
Larry Sachs - Transmission Rebuilder
Larry has been working in transmission shops for 20 years. He has been a rebuilder for a major transmission chain and has owned his own shop. He is also an experienced differential rebuilder. Larry has a wife and a son and is a graduate of University Technical Institute in Phoenix.
